The house Hirsch is located in the northwest part of Andermatt.
Its three-part structure is inspired by ‘Stadel’, the European style of the neighbouring Goms. A massive stone plinth forms the base, on which the main larch wood shell sits, only separated from the base by a glass joint. Inside the building, the central stairway provides access to the three apartments and the living rooms and dining areas are placed either to the west towards the Reuss or east towards the pathways. This ensures interesting views of the wide valley or the village for all the flats.
